Emergency Medicine
As one of our mandates as a critical care center, we provide the highest level of trauma and emergency care in our fully equipped emergency room. Our team are trained and re trained on modern techniques in the management of medical, surgical and obstetric emergencies. Our model also ensures a seamless flow within the hospital for the acutely ill.
Critical Care Medicine/ICU
Intensive care medicine, or critical care medicine, is a branch of medicine concerned with the diagnosis and management of life-threatening conditions that may require sophisticated life support equipment and monitoring. This is one of our core specialties and we have over 15 years of experience in it. We have two of the nation’s best intensivists manning our 6 bedded well equipped ICU. They have provided critical care services in a variety of hospitals within and outside the country and are dedicated to promoting critical care services in Nigeria.
Surgery
At Marigold hospital, we have two fully equipped theatres and trained theatre practitioners, technicians, nurses, surgeons and anaesthetists who ensure that cases are done safely and efficiently. We are fully aware that “safe surgery saves lives”
Urological Surgery
Our in-house urologist provides treatment for a variety of concerns including, but not limited to, Prostate Cancer, bladder cancer, renal cancer, impotence, kidney stone and infertility. We also carry out Procedures such as vasectomy and laparoscopic surgeries.
General Surgery
From upper gastrointestinal to lower gastrointestinal surgery to breast surgery and thyroid surgeries our team of trained surgeons provide the skills and technique necessary for each case for each patient.
Paediatric Surgery
Children are not little adults, they require a lot more care and precision, that’s why we ensure that paediatric cases are done by a paediatric surgeon.
Neurosurgery / Spine
Our neurosurgeon offers the best modern techniques available in treatment of brain and spine disorders. Expert review is available from the pre-operative period to the post-operative period and after care.
Ophthalmology
Our ophthalmologists at MHCCC provides evaluation and treatment for disorders, degeneration, and diseases of the eye. Each patient receives personalized treatment to improve their eye health.

The Maxillofacial surgeon provides a comprehensive range of services to correct problems with the face, mouth, teeth and jaws.

Health Assessment Clinic
Did you know that there are routine checks that must be carried out annually in order to reduce cardiovascular risks? At our Health Assessment Clinics, we focus on preventive care and early detection of diseases. Our medical screenings help detect problems that are pre-disposed to particular age groups, gender, lifestyle, and occupation. The early detection thus offers the opportunity to treat the problems whilst they are amenable to treatment, medical advice and less invasive to carry out. Nephrology and Dialysis
The prevalence of kidney disease is rising globally and in Nigeria. In response to this we at Marigold Hospital and Critical Care Centre have a well-equipped dialysis unit manned by a nephrologist and a team of dialysis nurses, technicians and doctors. Our aim is to provide accessible and affordable dialysis for in patients and out patients.
Non- Interventional Cardiology
A healthy heart is essential for a long and healthy life. We offer cardiology services including, ECG, Echocardiography and stress tests as part of our health assessment and our cardiologists are available to asses and treat cardiac diseases.
Neurology
Neurologists are doctors with specialised training in diagnosing, treating and managing disorders of the brain and nervous system. They can treat disorders of the nervous system, brain, spinal cord, nerves, muscles and pain. We regular clinics for outpatients who require this service.
Dermatology
At MHCCC our dermatologist specializes in treating skin disorders from less complex ones like acne to skin cancer.
Family Medicine
Our family medicine model of care provides patients with a personal medical home through which they receive a full range of services.
Our Family physicians deliver acute, chronic, and preventive care, we use a team approach to care acknowledging that the patient is a vital part of that team. We emphasize patient education, preventive health advice, and patient involvement in health care.
Gatroenterology
Gastroenterology involves the diagnosis and treatment of conditions of the digestive system (GI tract) including the oesophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon and rectum, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts and liver.
Here at Marigold Hospital and Critical Care Centre we provide a full range of endoscopy services to diagnose and treat problems of the GI tract.

- Colonoscopy for the large bowel
- Gastroscopy for the oesophagus and

which can be performed with a lactose intolerant quick test if required. We offer the latest in endoscopy diagnostics including video capsule endoscopy as appropriate.
Diabetology
Diabetes is one of the leading causes of death and morbidity in Nigeria. Diabetology is the clinical science of diabetes mellitus, its diagnosis, treatment and follow-up. It is considered a specialised field of endocrinology.
At MHCCC we have an elaborate personalised management plan for our diabetic patients stretching through clinics, ward care, critical care and home monitoring.
Women's Health

Diagnostics
At MHCCC our modern laboratory is equipped to carry out hematological, biochemical and immunological investigations.
In our radiology department, we are able to carry out x-rays and ultrasound scans with accurate reportage to ensure correct diagnosis. Other diagnostic procedures we carry out include; Electrocardiograms; Spirometry (an evaluation of lung function); Pap smears (to check for cervical cancer); We perform Urinalyses; Urine Cultures; Throat cultures; Haemoglobin tests (for detection of anaemia); Blood glucose tests; Pregnancy tests; Stool occult blood tests and other selected tests.
Ambulance Service
Our fully equipped ambulance and trained transport staff are available to evacuate and transport acutely ill patients who require transport. It’s quite literally the ICU on wheels.
Burns & Reconstructive Surgery
Our burns team have years of experience in burns management. We provide acute care from the emergency department, critical care unit, burns dressing to post burns reconstructive surgery. Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation
Marigold Hospital and Critical Care Centre specialists Care to restore movement and function to people disabled by disease and injury. Pain Clinic
We have special pain clinics for the management of acute and chronic pain. Our individualistic approach aims at improving each patient’s quality of life and alleviating pain regardless of its cause. We offer interventional and non-interventional modalities of pain management including intrathecal steroid injections, nerve blocks, epidural analgesia and TENS.
Day Case Surgery
In keeping with current trends, we offer a wide variety of cases for suitable patients as day cases. This means you spend less time in the hospital and more time at home with your loved ones. We are able to do this with the help of minimal access technology and skilled surgeons and Anaesthetists.
Endoscopy
Endoscopy is a procedure where the inside of your body is examined from the inside using an endoscope. An endoscope is a thin, long, flexible tube that contains a light source and a video camera at the end. Using this tube, doctors are able see and record the images seen.
Endoscopes can be inserted into the body through a natural opening, such as your throat, nose or rectum. The procedure is normally carried out when you’re awake, and you may be given a sedative to relax you. Please call to book for a colonoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, urethroscopy and bronchoscopy.
C-arm
This is our C-arm machine. It is a medical imaging device that is based on X-ray technology. The name derives from the C-shaped arm used to connect the x-ray source and x-ray detector to one another. They are used during specialised procedures in orthopaedics, traumatology, spine surgery, vascular surgery and cardiology for intra operative imaging. The device provides high resolution images in real time allowing the surgeons and physicians to monitor progress and confirm position at any time during the procedure, thus ensuring safety and precision.
